Considered by many to be the most
powerful and influential group in all of wrestling, DX is a
notorious faction of controversial superstars that originated out
of true friendship. Deciding that Federation officials were no
longer going to put a strain on their allegiance, Shawn Michaels
and Triple H combined forces, and as a result D-Generation X was
born. HBK, HHH and Chyna began disrespecting, mocking,
frustrating and pulverizing just about every official and fellow
superstar in the Federation.
Following his loss to Stone Cold Steve
Austin at WrestleMania XIV, Shawn Michaels was replaced by Triple
H as the leader of DX. During his first night in power, Hunter
recruited three new members. The superstars not only had superior
in-ring ability, but the intelligence, personality and charisma
it requires to be a member.
X-Pac (formerly known as the 1-2-3 Kid)
and the New Age Outlaws--Badd Ass Billy Gunn and Road
Dog--immediately enlisted in the DX Army. With the membership of
this group now up to five, and expansion always possible,
D-Generation X will be sitting on the top of the wrestling world
for a very long time!
